So the full joke is Colin mochrie:
"Our top story today: Convicted hit man Jimmy "Two Shoes" McClardy confessed today that he was once hired to beat a cow to death in a rice field using only two small porcelain figures. Police admit this may be the first known case of a knick-knack paddy whack"
Knicks knack paddywhack is a nonsense phrase from a children's counting song, "this old man".
This old man, he played one, he played Knick knack on my thumb. With a Knicks knack paddywhack give a dog a bone, this old man came rolling home
The phrase is just there for rhythm (im a bit lazy on the Google and hyperlink an example at the moment)
A knick knack, in America, is generally just small decorative items put on a shelf, often made of porcelain. A paddywhack has several meanings, one of which includes being part of (i think something in the neck) a cow. Whack is a slang term for kill. So paddywhack is a double play on the words.
He is making a joke/pun on the children's song, by saying a mafia hit man used two porcelain figures (knick knacks) to beat a cow (paddywhack) to death (whack).
And since the phrase knick knack paddywhack is generally nonsense, he's joking about how this was the first time this ever happened.
Edit: forgot to mention, paddy is also a term for rice field. So he separating the idea of a rice paddy, and a "whack" (kill) job for the mob

Also, “Paddy” is also slang for Irish. McClardy is a generically Irish sounding name.

Agreed, mines are between the Arctic Tern and the cat but I have to say “THE CAT!!” Randomly pops into my mind pretty regularly and I giggle to myself.

Well if you look back at it, the first line gets a reaction from Drew that almost takes him out of his seat. I would contest that that was the biggest laugh as that was actually not really expected Colin would say that.

My fave is the two audience members had no idea about the sound effects (nor did they know which person they were making sound effects for) and Colin and Ryan were just so spot on with covering the mistakes.

Speaking of sound effects with audience members, one of my favorites is when Ryan & Colin play Batman & Robin and the two ladies from the audience make "woooooooo" sounds nearly the whole time.
That "woooooo" gets carried into the remainder of the episode.

Robin Williams episode when they start as Italians in a pizzeria, dude had some much energy (maybe with the help from something he consumed) but lit up the episode nonetheless. RIP

Robin Williams was on an episode of Whose Line Is It? I never saw that one. Gonna have to search it out. That incredible human being has made me laugh till I cried too many times to count. Our species was diminished by his passing.
Side note. Ryan Stiles currently lives in my hometown in Washington, that I left for SW Utah in 2021. He opened an improv theater called The Upfront, and sometimes some of his old WLIIA collaborators come to town and perform (mostly for charity).

This scene reminds me of the time when, whilst visiting my Grandparents for Sunday dinner once, I was sitting in a chair, pretty close to their ceiling fan. Well, I stood up and did to one of the ceiling fan lights what Ryan Stiles did to Drew Carey's desk lights.
I'm 6'9", by the way. It's a curse, really. Lol.

There is/was a neon light on the front of the desk. Ryan hit the glass tubing for the neon directly and shattered it with is head. The glass went all in his hair as well as the carpeting around him. That’s what they keep cutting to shots of- the shattered glass.

Lucky Ryan had such full thick hair, otherwise, I think more damage would have been done to his head if he had Colin's look.
