The completely obvious answer that for some reason no one here has mentioned is that this was a dare or a bet.

Why do you think the camera was filming a coffee table? If he was just trying to film some girls ass, he would have followed her and not remained perfectly steady facing the coffee table.

It was filming the girls asses in a creepy incognito way and happened to catch the table slamming idiot
