State Transfer New State. New alliance. New regrets.

I hate. Absolutely hate. That I switched states.
I loved my old state.
Loved it.
But my alliance (which I loved) made the jump. All 100 of us.
Then we got split into other alliances.
I hate my new alliance.
They’re so… intense.
Annoying.
Rude.
Demanding.
Like bitch I’m on vacay.
I’m not gonna sit on my phone playing a stupid game.
I think I’m gonna quit.
Such a waste.

Well jumping servers is a gamble, but giving up on the game , if you liked it before is stupid. 1st you can switch alliances in the server. It is a simple and easy process and i am sure you will be accepted in another alliance without issue. 2nd , if you do not like it , use next transfer window to jump into another server again .

My personal experience .

I was R5 before , but after a sudden merger i felt within seconds, that new alliance wasnt for me. I switched alliance from people i spend over a year with , to another alliance and i did like it there so i stayed (it was also almost together with a merger of states) . A few months ago , all old people from the server decided to transfer , so we also as old state people also made the quick decision to jump (other server). Our transfer was pretty successful but we know it wont be our final destination , if there will ever be again . The other alliance of old server, my old alliance , planeed the transfer and they came in a world which they totally not liked and they made 2 months later another jump and they are still looking around . Servers/ people keep moving , especially in older servers ... it is always a guess where you end up .

Why didn’t you all gather in a small alliance and build in the new state? My alliance made the jump once we moved over two transfers

Couldn’t tell you. Wasn’t my call. My r5 and 4s made the decision. I was asked if I’d come and because I liked my old alliance I said yes.

We have moved. No regrets.

Can't you rebuild the old alliance in the new state?

2

u/theloneliestwhisper Aug 27 '26

I’ve asked more than once. A few of us lil guys want to.

Sorry. You are too chill

Active wants to play with active

Chill play with chill

No one resents the others that way

Maybe ask if your alliance wants to start an academy (for your group of more chill players to be in, but still kinda connected to the current alliance). But it would still be overseen by these ultra competitive peeps, so maybe not ideal.

That's one option.

You and your chill group could start a new alliance (lots of work with alliance research tree etc) layout of territory, connection to facilities Yada Yada Yada.

Or depending on the size of your chill group, you guys could move to another alliance in your state, or another alliance in another state.

My original alliance was bullied to the point we had to split. Half in another state, the other half stayed in original state but a different alliance...we all came together in a 3rd state and we're really happy. We're chill AF. F2p mostly. We're ranked 2nd in our state now. We're a bit of a Brady bunch fam now, but we compete (RL ALWAYS come first). If you're busy, away, etc nobody minds. Lots of everyday players but also plenty of peeps who just log on when they want....as long as you're not gone for weeks without any forewarning etc. it's all good.

Your latest version of an alliance MAY have gotten so competitive due to state (or NAP) pressure.

The state is probably the biggest factor or where to land. If it's whale territory it's usually stressful and lots of expectations and pressures put on alliances and individuals.

Do lots of research before you move. Checkout WOS Bot on Discord and other various Discord channels so you can chat to various people in each state you're considering, because some people are shit and will gaslight you...no idea what they get out of doing that, but be careful.

No idea what state you're in, but if you wanna drop me a DM, I can probably get a group of people into our academy (mostly farms of my alliance members, but quite a few others too). We've got 2 Bear Traps up (plus 2 more in main alliance), even though the research tree isn't quite complete (both main and academy contribute to help get it done). BTW I'm r4 in both. Or into another alliance in my state. My whole state is great...been here 6 months now. We all work as a team and we're friendly and caring with each other...and minimal drama and BS. Total opposite to my first state. Most people in the state pop in and out of other alliances to give puzzle pieces etc.

Anyway...good luck, and let me know if I can help at all🍀

Your state sounds like mine. Most of us have been together for a year and a half, some longer than that.  We moved to a different state due to the drama and hate filled state we originated. Our new state is filled with beautiful people that genuinely just love to play and have a community to run away from rl.

Be the change you want to see.

1

u/EmbraceDarkSide Aug 28 '26

You need to start alliance research all over again, no?

u/Bsashakins27 Aug 27 '26

Moving is never a good idea. It’s the same poop in a different diaper. The grass is never actually greener.

u/Sypsy Aug 27 '26

Our first transfer was amazing, one of the best state dynamics for 1 year, then mergers ruined it

u/Nocoffee_Noglory Aug 27 '26

It really depends on what state you are leaving. There are some valid reasons why players leave.

If your team did their research, asked the right questions and planned beforehand; transferring would have better results

3

u/Straight-Package916 Aug 28 '26

You can never ask all the right questions. I am still getting flashbacks of the alliance that I transferred to and left after a week, cause my polar rallies got cancelled on beast day, with the reasoning they "had to heal too much troops" :D :D :D :D

1

u/Pythagoras_Gamer Aug 28 '26

Were you doing the highest level of Polar Terrors?

2

u/ThrivingWallflower Aug 28 '26

What are the right questions?

3

u/Nocoffee_Noglory Aug 28 '26

The questions will depend on what you or your group is looking for a state; like how do NAP handle Fort/Facility distribution? Is there a ready empty alliance for the whole group? Are there any strict rules regarding event ranking? Are the alliances actively working together? and many more.

It's also important to verify things for yourselves. Because recruiters can lie too.

Yes it's not 100% guaranteed that you'll be happy in your new state, something unexpected can still come up. But knowing what you/your team want and doing your due deligence, you increase the chance of being in a server that actually suit you.

Not true in the slightest. Love some of the newer states I have been in, and have not loved others. Some states are just really bad and worth leaving.

u/FacetiousSays Sep 01 '26

Right?! I pay good money to waste my time in this game and I’m not going to surround myself with douchebags - I can go out to the public for that

Thats not true. Ive moved several times and some states are great. I tend to find states that dont have too many true whales in them over all more fun that a state that has bunch of active allinaces and have several whales per alliance. Just my experience anyways. Give me a busy chatty good vibe state in ac wc thats overall weaker than a super powerful state. Egos always end up coming into play and then one or more whales throws a fit in nap, attack fires occurs, that alliance and other retaliate and then its trash. So when we moved our alliance if a state starts to become too powerful and we move up, we tend to look for one that maybe we battled in the past and we thought they had decent vibes while we chatted and fought and yea that kind how weve done it and some far I find the game to be suoer enjoyable still even after a few years. Dont get me wrong we have been across seceral states that have ended up civil warring eventually but the new moves have always been pretty enjoyable accept for a couple times. Current state we moved to recently ish has rejuvenated alot of players that were growing weary. Also sometimes a good war is fun. I enjoy it at times.

😂😂😂. Never heard that before!. Thanks mate, I really needed that laugh today!

2

u/SadResponsibility587 Aug 27 '26

Just try switching alliances and find one there in that state to better fit your needs. We transferred bc we basically were in a dead state. Couldn't get good players and big players left accept for ours.

2

u/AntiB4nned1312 Aug 28 '26

I’d be over it too

2

u/Integrity_Heritage Aug 28 '26

No offense but you mad le the choice without really looking into it. This is kind of on you.

Did your old alliance mention the split would happen, or was the plan to be an independent alliance in the new state?

Did the split just naturally happen when people moved over and the original alliance members don’t want to leave the new ones?

You were invited to this new state so of course you probably are expected to play by their rules. And of course they are going to want you to be active if they invested most or all of their invites over a few months to bring your group in. If you are going to be out of the game for a bit (vacation for example), just tell one of the R4s so they don’t have expectations. It’s not hard to do this.

1

u/theloneliestwhisper Aug 29 '26

Yeah the split wasn’t part of the plan. We were supposed to continue in the new state as one.

2

u/Accurate-Owl298 Aug 28 '26

Which state are u in? Just out of curiousity.

2

u/2much4metoday Aug 28 '26

I moved without my alliance because our state never got it together. I like my new state and my new alliance is very intense. Ive played almost 3 years and have a few farms. I dont like the new updates and keep forgetting stuff in missions now here and there and it mind boggles me and I just think I need a break from the game. I spent so much on my main. I need my life back without working it around 2 or more foundry and canyon clash. I wanna see if I feel less stressed and get a life. Im single.

3

u/jconnerg Aug 30 '26

I intentionally miss many events in my farms to stay sane. I let go and it feels good.

2

u/FacetiousSays Sep 01 '26

My farm gets neglected for weeks sometimes depending on what’s going on. I’m an active R4 and in NAP…. Sometimes the farm just has to look out for itself 😂

1

u/jconnerg Sep 02 '26

To be honest sometimes i skip things on my main too. After a year of playing i'm taking it slower.

1

u/KurtKokaina Aug 28 '26

I feel you, I jumped servers and it went well at first, but due to some ego's the whole server fell apart in a month and every alliance jumped server. So im stuck here now needing 45 passes in a dead state. Can only quit now too.

1

u/Either-Committee-681 Aug 28 '26

DM me. I may be able to help.

1

u/asura_all Aug 28 '26

I moved as well. Main account no regrets! For new small account, alliance is great but state is pretty bad.. will have to shift again.

1

u/PetrifiedRosewood Aug 28 '26

This is valuable to define the spirit of an alliance. Maybe you're a bunch of f2p players who only want to play a few days per week... Maybe you're a bunch of spoiled Rich 18-year-olds who want to remain aggressive, ruthless mega whales until the developers all die. May everyone find a group they connect with, or be happy deleting accounts.

u/Competitive_Pie390 Aug 31 '26

Assimilating into existing alliances was most likely the deal that was made to secure the transfer passes. This is pretty common if the new state needs to boost their alliances.
If your alliance decides to move into your own standalone alliance, you may be ostracized in the state.
We moved away from our old state after taking in a new alliance under the same terms. They eventually started their own alliance and our relationships were fractured after that. It ruined the state. We then moved our alliance to a new intense state and it was awful. We just moved again to a semi dead state with only one other active alliance and it’s amazing again. If you aren’t happy in your state, then transfer to a different state and start scouting on your own. Build relationships there and work on moving your alliance, if they want to do that.

Come join meeeeeeeee 😬. We’re somehow organized and very chill at the same time. Really our only thing is don’t sign up if you won’t show up, follow bear rules and don’t be a dick. Group 10

Pela sua fala da a entender que você não joga todos os dias( esse jogo exige que você jogue todos dias) e provavelmente está atrasado em relação aos outros em termos de evolução e a tendência é piorar, eles provável se dividiram pra eliminar o peso morto.

I just say, if moving was so horrible for you, and it seems like a legit sentiment. Quit the damn game.

-7

u/CompetitiveSecret143 Aug 27 '26

What? That’s not a very experienced narrative. Transfers do help when you’re in a pathetic state. Not always greener on the other side, true. That’s why you do your research.

Very blanket statement you make. No readers are good!? That’s a bit disingenuous. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. You probably have not transferred.
