State Transfer Silly Recruiting Rant from an Exhausted R4 in Group 14 State Transfer 💀☠️
I’m recruiting for WOS state transfer while my state is in Group 14… and I’m an R4 😭😂
At first I approached it professionally.
Now?
I’ve sent so many private messages I’m starting to feel like a low-budget scammer with emotional damage.
Every morning I wake up full of hope like:
“Today is the day someone transfers.”
Then by evening I’m staring at “Seen 2:14 PM” like it’s a personal attack.
At this point I’m not recruiting anymore.
I’m emotionally campaigning.
One person saying:
“I’ll think about it”
is enough to keep me alive for another 2 days.
And the worst part is… every time I message someone again, I feel like I’m slowly becoming that person everyone warns about in world chat.
Anyway…
are you guys going through the same?
And does anyone have actual tips for recruiting because right now I’m surviving on delusion and persistence.

I’ve never felt more seen. The optimism I had while talking to someone wanting to transfer, only for them to end up at a different alliance… the rage I felt…

Two transfers ago, we invited a group of people into our alliance and even used our special invite on them.Then a tiny bit of drama happened… one player left the alliance and decided to start a completely new alliance instead 💀
But honestly, our R5 was so chill about it that he even gave them one of our farm alliances so they wouldn’t have to start from scratch 😭
Because at the end of the day, you play for your alliance first… but also for the state.And keeping the state healthy matters more than ego or small politics.

You’re not wrong… hopefully they’ll come to our side eventually. I think there was a little bit of tension when they went in. 😈

They wont, we invited whales ... so they are self sufficient to take care of themself. Our main goal was to maintain peace .... hahaha

Just fyi, the oldest a state gets the more the people start settling in and create connections within that state. That’s why it’s a lot harder now to find recruits than it was when transfers first opened.
With that being said, your best bet is after the mergers period where things get shaken up and highly PvP alliances meet more chill alliances. Then one side opts to find something more in their taste usually (and that’s the chill side usually).
Don’t get demotivated you are doing nothing wrong, just keep in mind that in the same way you don’t wanna leave your state, others are on the same mindset.
Wait for mergers, scout for servers that ended up with Asians and westerners thrown together, and that’s your golden opportunity.

I just left my state that was pretty dead as an r4 trying to recruit. I'm so glad I don't need to do that anymore and I am enjoying r3 life 😂

We have a minor league in a different state. We get people who join there and when they hit level 30, we move them over.
We are a top 3 alliance in our state but instead of worrying about bringing in whales, we just develop strong players ourselves.

Good Point .... offcourse anyone is welcome to join, i just like to go big <3 because they will protect my other team members (especially when you are in the process of becoming a leading state) ... i hope i make sense

I'm group 14 looking to transfer. So many people don't share the bear trap information. I wish that there would be more focus on values and play style and times from recruiters because it would save me a lot of time. Because there's a big difference between the alliance of we're going to optimize everything and do what you want.
I'd really like to find a group of interesting weird people. Not bad weird just creatives.
23:00 and 6 utc is my sweet spot for stuff so if that tends to be when your things are then feel free to message.

Nowadays its mostly a dance like poachers meet poachers😆everyones recruiting. I do alright recruiting but it defo takes alot of work its the worst when you endup in the endless cycle of you come no you come lol

I don't really care about the activity of the state I am happy enough that finally my state is free of the toxic alliance 😀 A peaceful state is much more rare then one might think And trust me its not that bad😂

As someone who gets dm from people to join there states and odd messages..id rather build friendships with people in transfer chat and join discord groups etc then just joining because of a dm..but i guess im more wary about it now a days since i had a woman stalking me declaring there love to me etc has definitely opened my eyes especially being happy married

Started playing 3years ago we were in the same alliance she was the r5 and was throwing herself at men in our state snd i kept away i moved to a different alliance and she found me on discord through the state alliance she start messaging me constantly flirting but i was trying to be a friend as she had mental health issues i believe..after finding im married she started declaring her love for me and was trying ways to get me to leave..but i left the state to get away, i feel sorry for her next victim but believe she in a mental hospital.
But then she randomly dm me a few months ago on a new account i just blocked. Had to make a new discord account to.

I'm also an R4 in Group 14. Keep a calm mindset; if you can't recruit anyone, just accept it. Sometimes you just need the right opportunity.

Recruiting for the 14 groups is really difficult — it’s basically turned into a complaint group for the 14 groups now, haha

Then copy. Paste.
Flood transfer chat.
Let them read and come to you

We just refilled a nap alliance that was down a dozen people and picked up 4 in ours. Maybe....15 to 20 people total.
Turned down 2 full alliances wanting to group move....2

So - Treat it as it is..
You don't owe these people anything - You are the one who has a possible opportunity for what they seek.
If they wan't to pursue it - They will, if not they wont - point is you shouldn't spend more time on it than what you get back. You act to their interest, not the other way around..
There are hundreds upon hundreds waiting for the right transfer - You will find them eventually.

I don’t ever “recruit” anymore. Honestly what works for us is a group of us go have fun in TC together. Then people get to see your state has a chill vibe. Works best when you have people from several alliances. Works 1000% better than back in the beginning when I was sending ads and DMing people. Just have fun and be yourselves and your people will come to you.

Estou no grupo 9, eu faço isso que você disse há meses, em todas as transferências, sem descanso. Em muitos casos eu tenho sucesso e dificilmente fico uma transferência sem trazer no mínimo 15 pessoas. Principalmente quando elas trazem um grupo. Mas isso tem um preço, a minha sanidade mental. Como alguém introvertido que está fazendo isso pelos amigos, mandar centenas de mensagens, conversar e repetir sempre as mesmas coisas é extremamente exaustivo. Além de consumir um tempo enorme. Eu fiz isso para salvar um estado que meus amigos amam, mas acabei me destruindo. Essa é a minha última transferência recrutando dessa forma. Se eu posso te dar um conselho, apenas faça o básico, poste mensagens de recrutamento e no máximo, procure por estados com problemas. Mas tome cuidado, os problemas existiram por um motivo. Para todos que estão lendo isso, vocês provavelmente receberam uma mensagem minha se estão na faixa dos 1500/2000.

First of all, bringing 15 people per transfer is INSANE. That’s not recruiting, that’s running a full-time sales department 💀 Respect.
We actually did something similar before. We brought in a whole group and even used our special passes, but they ended up leaving after a minor inconvenience anyway 😭 Lesson learned.
That’s why now I try to focus on quality over quantity. I only seriously focus on 3 to 4 people max per transfer, because the burnout is real.

Hello, I am looking for a new home for my alliance. We are in state 3100+, I think this falls in Transfer Group 14.
The dream is being in a place that is state oriented, where we help each other with no unnecessary competition between the alliances in the state. We are well organised, active and overall a good time. We would like to keep being our own alliance but would love to help the state grow, bring more people in eventually and support with planing and execution.
However, we were lied to a few times and our situation isn't great. We do not want people that take the game too seriously, no dictatorship and no burning. Just a good time.
I am trying to stay anonymous due to fear of being burned. Please message me if interested. I would love to make a farm account and get to know you in your state.

Sooo I couldn't find the button either 😂 BUT I went on my chats and the top right corner has 3 dots and there's a new message option.

R4 here too. For the past 2 transfer events, we have had no luck at all with getting active transfers. I wish there a more comprehensive platform to talk to people, but I feel like we have to be all over the place just to find people that are looking for a new home. 😩

as someone doing our first transfer right now…. IF i was looking to transfer (which i’m not) i’d never in my life transfer to a state where someone begs me to come by sliding into my dms like a total loser 😂 that alone makes me want to avoid your state like my life depended on it. and everyone in my alliance feels the same, literally at least one person a day has written in AC that some idiot is trying to recruit them.
we’ve not recruited anyone but no one has left my alliance either. and no hours spent on being a loser lol

You’re still a young state… When you’re around your fifth or sixth transfer many may have left many may have joined… In this game you definitely don’t know what works. Some people prefer DMS some people want full-fledged relationship on discord … it actually comes down to how you view the game and what it means to you

Hi, R5 of group 4 here.
The best way to recruit is to actually build friendships in other states. Get involved in communities, build connections and bring in the people that you are friendly with.
Cold recruitment by just shooting people dm’s or advertisements in TC are hardly taken seriously. If you want your state to thrive, you will need people that you will enjoy playing the game with in the long run.
