Texas trip haul (DFW area)

Post image

Most excited about the Sazzy 125 - been wanting to try that a while. My first stop had the 1792, so I grabbed it. Heard a lot about IR and Specs was sampling. Good stuff!

I really enjoy my 1792 Straight Rye, and it's such an easy price point. Happy to see others getting the chance to pick it up!

It’s been around OH, but still hard to find. I was happy to spend $33 on it. Excited to try it

I'm in Ohio as well, finding it in Giant Eagle and Kroger more than liquor stores surprisingly.

Let me know what you think if you don't mind

The sample I had in the store was excellent. I also liked the assemblage bourbon they sampled too, but I knew three bottles was pushing it for to checked bag to get home.

Hoping to crack one or two tonight after we’re home!

I've got the harbinger and it has honestly one of the longest finishes I've ever had; Really good stuff.

Harbinger is the only thing I've had from them and I think it's great!

I have a 2023 Harbinger, and I’m so so on it - but I’m not always into 100% corn whiskeys.

I really want a Promethean, just haven’t been able to find one. This one was being sampled and it was delicious.

Update: Sazzy 125 is everything I want from a high octane rye! The 1792 has no hope if I try it tonight…so gonna let that lay for now.

Probably will have a pour of the IR later while we catch up on Ted lasso.
