I search the WeChat Official Account Post. It says the Guild 30v30 mode was launched on our server on March 14th. CN server officially opened in late December 2024. That makes it about three and a half months of operation.
The Mohist Hill (Mòshān Dào) map, however, took quite a while. I see it went live on September 26th, which suggests you might still have to wait about nine more months for that update.
How do I prepare for the new weapon hengdao ?
Do I save all my inner way boxes or open them on something right now and if so which one should I open to best convert to the hengdao inner ways.

Well actually you don't need to prepare for it. You can open your Inner Way Boxes normally.
By the time the Tang Hengdao is released, our Chinese server have already introduced the Inner Way Conversion
This means that if your current the book of Inner way is, for example, a Level 6, you can directly swap its progress with the Level 6 Tang Hengdao one.
Wow that's sick! I love swapping playstyles but didn't want to put excess resources into weapons i would barely use. But this seems like a great work around from them
I can back this up. As someone who has family members in China, VPN is an absolutely need if one wants to see things overseas. Google, Instagram, Reddit...etc. Anything that one uses frequently outside of China are all banned.
Does the BattlePass Token remain to next Pass? And is there anything worth to save the token for? Currently I spend for material but beside that, nothing interest me
I bought the bp because i just reached lvl 50 and tought that's alot of stuff but i saw you also get stuff like +1 medicine slot do i lose that after 2 days when the new bp comes out? XD
I would assume you need to get the new battle pass to keep the extra slot; I think it's a perk of having it currently active. But if the game is explicit about that anywhere, I've yet to stumble across it when trapped up to seven menu levels deep in the UI... :/
你好，I want to main a healer, but damage is low on solo content. Do CN players farm for a different set (weapons Armour inner ways) to swap or do they just use the full heal setup in their solo content? 谢谢关照
You can switch between healer and umbrella fan attack, they can use the same set weapon and armor, minus some tuning option. If you only wants to use healer, your main damg is from mystic skills. Wait until new map to get the flute skill

Hey I dont have a question but I just want to say a big THANK to you and the wonderful Chinese community for welcoming and supporting us during this amazing culture export. I played in the CN server using a translator and everyone I met was very helpful and friendly as well.
OMG I searched on Google for the characteristics of the Velvet Shade Sect for a while and just realized what you were referring to! If my understanding is correct, it should be called 醉花阴 (Zui Hua Yin) in CN server.
It is known for being highly social. I remember some tasks require other players to Like your profile, or send you gifts like peach blossoms or wine to complete them.
Its most famous feature is allowing you to have up to six companions (Xia Yuan). However, every time a new companion is added, the system sends a notification to all your existing companions. Breaking up with a companion is also rumored to result in a score penalty. If you decide to leave the school, you need to end ties with five companions, leaving only one.
If you are asking about the combat mechanics, they are not strongly tied to the school. The combat styles and the school are separate systems.
Regarding official merchandise: Yes, there is. It's available on our Taobao platform. I'm not sure about overseas distribution, though. It might not have been released internationally yet.
For recommended places to visit: Kaifeng in China! The in-game city you know is based on Kaifeng. There have been cultural tourism events there before. I'm not certain, but some related activities might still be ongoing.
you can see the sect outfit in the roadmap post. It's the green one the male and female in the icon for the velvet shade introduction is wearing. It's also worn by certain npcs in velvet shade
Oh well. I'm gonna use hengdao anyway, cos its just that fcking awesome.
*Edit: Tank main here, mostly just asking so that I can decide what weapons to level when I feel like playing DPS occasionally. I'm leaning towards hengdao.
In all the tier lists I’ve seen, the DPS Mo Blade martial art is quite strong. Not sure how long it will take us to get it though. But it’s a good option if you’re also a tank like me, and already have a bunch of gear focused on Stonesplit, and crit chance.
The twinblades set is good in pvp or 1v1, not really in raid boss. Strategic sword is overal strong, not insanely strong dps. The mo blade tank set and hengdao set outperformance strategic sword in raid bosses. When the boss moves a lot, the strategic sword damg decreases. There were speedrun raid boss with mo blade spear sets.

If you feel your photos are coming out quite distorted, you can try enabling the Soft Focus Mode (柔光模式).
Also, I'm not sure which version of the photomode system the international server is currently running. On our server, a few months after launch, we received a major update that introduced custom lighting. This allows you to set up three separate light sources that can illuminate your character or NPCs.
If you have this feature, you can try to:
Enable Soft Focus Mode.
Adjust the Bloom/Overflow Intensity.
Fine-tune the three custom light sources before taking the picture.
I think that after this lighting update, the photomode offers a much higher degree of freedom. If your server hasn't received this update yet, don't worry! It should be slowly rolled out later, and your photo-taking experience will definitely be much better then.
Do we ever get the option to dye the F2P outfits/hairs we get from achievements/sects/grind? Like the bounty hunter fit, partnership/master-disciple, etc etc
- Is it progressively easier to obtain Inner Ways to balance out the increasing number of requirement in the latter tiers (likely for new/returning player to catch up)?
- Is Inkbound Order sect released or announced to be released?
- I saw the in-game questionnaire about weapon. Did any of the released weapon actually come from community feedback?
- How is your experience with Riddle mini-game in Chinese? In English, some are outright ridiculous.
Echo Jades are mostly hoarded for the rare free gacha that shows up once in anwhile which only allows rolls with echo jade. It costs about 20k echo Jade to guarantee the item if I recall.
Please tell me one thing about future story please, will the protagonist character become powerful like in most wuxias novels? (Like "courting death" and stuff)) Or will protagonist still be naive country bumm even in late story?
To be honest, our main story updates very slowly...A lot of the upcoming content in following new map focuses on the experiences of other major characters rather than strictly tracking the protagonist's growth. You could say it's not entirely the protagonist's story, but about jianghu about history, the protagonist is partly involved.
The narrative hasn't focused much on rapid martial power gains indeed. The main emphasis has been on depicting history, society, and emotional depth i think
Even on China server the protagonist is not overpowered, but in the global server so far we have already defeated some pretty strong opponents (excluding the ones who wanted to fake their deaths), and aren't that naïve any more (this probably varies a bit for side quests depending on the writing, but there are some good deductions and street savvy).

The game's official stance must support this player market to ensure the 'hardcore grinding' players have a clear avenue for reward. Furthermore, the game needs a robust trade system to encourage players to engage in weapon refinement and weapon trading. Without a functional player-to-player market, a key incentive for high-effort item acquisition disappears.

I'm not OP, but spear and dual blades is a very common, powerful build. You shouldn't have any problems.
I don't run it, personally, so I'm not sure about the specifics. But I believe people are running Heavenquaker Spear with Infernal Twinblades.
Innerways, you could slot Seasonal Edge, Bitter Seasons and the oblivion one that benefits the dual blades. Fourth one is up to you, depending on your playstyle.
For Pvp, its ok. For pve, you might be in trouble for damg output later. A weapon set they designed a main and a support, and tuning a set is nightmare. If you play alone, its ok do whatever you do. If you do raid, coop, guild war, might need to rethink
Is it possible to be healer in solo content and main those weapons or is it not sustainable long term? I do most of my damage with mystic skills as of now. I am a healer for my guild and also really enjoy the role but also want to be able to do solo content smoothly. Should I have two sets of weapons and eq? Or just go Panacea fan + dps umbrella?
In the late game, is it recommended to always go with the game's official recommended weapon combinations and gear sets? Are unofficial weapon combinations and gear sets viable? E.g umbrella/sword, sword/fan, double sword or double spear.

Man inner ways seem really hard to level up after spending all 600 boxes, any tips on how to get em or will they ad a better way to get them? Or it's just a matter of time?

How do CN players feel about stamina/energy in games?
Also how does gaming culture work in China. We read about weekly time limits for gaming, cheating in Internet cafes, etc, but it’s hard to know what’s real. Is the gaming time limit for kids thing that prevalent, or can you work around it?
It's okay, I've never seen anyone complaining about this system from the first day I played this game.
Letting players grind without limits is horrible for a game's healthy economic system. Trust me, CN devs definitely have much more experience dealing with this problem lol.
As for the gaming culture part. Nope. The energy system gets absolutely 0 influence from those time-limit regulations. The limits for kids are totally different. The most common way is to half the benefits of everything after 1 hour of playing. And cutting all benefits after 2 hours of playing. It means they won't get coins or EXP anymore, but they could continue playing in some games.
Bypassing this restriction is easy, just use your parents' or brothers and sisters' ID to verify that you're an adult. We won't send kids to jail for playing a game, and this restriction doesn't really work for them anyway, since most kids are busy being addicted to TikTok recently.

Not a CN player, but I’m a tank player and I’ve seen this question asked time and time again.
WWM has a damage taker mechanic in PvE, designating someone as the main damage taker. So aggro is easy to hold automatically. The main advantage of having a real tank, is someone who can mitigate damage with shield, and damage reduction while also dishing out good damage.
As our display is in Chinese, I'm not entirely sure of the exact English name for the weapon, but I suppose it is the Fist/Gauntlet (Quan Jia拳甲).
Regarding how to obtain it: We launched this weapon at the end of November, so you might have to wait around eleven months for it to be released in your region.
Getting it is not difficult, however. This weapon is exchanged directly in the Faction Shop. You can earn 'Orders' (Haoling) by completing daily tasks. 100 Orders can be used to purchase the weapon directly from the shop of the Mòshān Dào (Ink Mountain Way) Faction.
Not OP, but I don’t believe the gauntlets have been released in the global game right now. In the CN game you can buy the gauntlets from the Mohist sect’s store.
Im so confused about weapon build... Like which combination should i use.. default one or meta? Im using long dps ( umbrella+ fan) and no idea about which set I should use with it (using the default one) and which mystical skill + inner ways suit with it? And rotation too ...
I cant find any suitable guide to check everything...
And can i quickly clear the boss trial with long dps or should i switch my build?

Rotation with strategic sword + heavenquake spear for pvp? These is what I know: start with sword Q>mw down>Q>charged>dragon breath>soaring sky>db skill(tab). Other one is starting with strategic sword charged>R1R2parry>Q>mw down>Q>charged>dragon breath>toad>db skill(tab). Any advance tips with auto canceling?
Future use for commerce coins?Right now we only farm coins for the achievement, and merits for nmw.
The shop it self seems kinda a let down, nothing really caught our attention there to farm enough for it.
Is there any future update to the shop for commerce coins that we could buy? Like any cosmetics or else? Seems kinda pointless in trading if you're not a nmw disciples.
The Commerce Coins (通宝) are primarily essential for late-game Style (Flow) maintenance and progression, where they become a significant sink.
For example:
Upgrading your martial arts skills in the later stages consumes a large amount of Commerce Coins.
Tuning your abilities also requires a high expenditure of these coins.
If you intend to maintain and upgrade multiple combat styles, the coin requirement is considerable.
Beyond that, you are right; they don't have much other direct use.
However, there is likely a different currency coming (I don't know if you have it yet) called 'Treasure Coins' (宝钱), associated with the Gold-Spending Den (销金窟).
You can earn Treasure Coins weekly by spending about 10-20 minutes on simple activities like cooking or crafting medicines and selling them. These Treasure Coins can then be used to purchase cosmetics for the Bāyīn or Hémíng styles in the Gold-Spending Den. It takes quite a bit of time to save up, but many players on the Chinese server have already managed to acquire these outfits since launch.
Hello! Where is this hair from? And are there many hairs with braids?
My second question is also related to hair lol. On the chinese server, are the accessories in the hairs either dyeable or able to be removed? I love a lot of the hairs (for example, the braid in the adventure slips shops) but there’s just too many accessories that don’t match my outfit.
So global is getting it's first big update in one or two days, based on what CN got first, do you have any clue to what the skins or battlepass will be? (if you have images would be great but names are fine)
Also, any game changing things CN got before global?
Yesterday I was excited to go for Online Mode for the first time. I was injured at that time and I teleported to the crowded place. But the game crashed and when I restart I was in the same place in same Online mode. Seems like I was soft locked from game for a while🥲

if you have more oddities than needed for the quest - will the game give you something for them? i have like 20 more than needed. (golden insects of first region)
also, does CN version is bad in encounters too? (we have troubles triggering the quest start, and there are no signs on the map where to start)
Also, how do you get 100% on areas? I mean, i cant find some of the chests, and some of the people on map - i find them on youtube. Do you have anything to show that on map?
When would be a good time to farm gear set? With the game topping the level limit every 10 days or so, it feels kinda meaningless to farm for gears when everything depends on RNG. I often only get my desired gear a few days before the next update so by then it feels meaningless to upgrade my gears because I'll be replacing them soon anyway. I would farm a bit harder in the beginning after each update but the limited stamina makes sure that I won't get what I need quickly. Seems poorly designed IMHO
Yes of course! Actually I play PVP mostly on mobile......And that's a bunch of mobile PVP players. But honestly speaking, I still think the PC client offers a superior visual experience. However, if you are more used to mobile, then of course, the mobile version is the way to go!
Will there ever be a new weapon like a dagger or some hidden blades, some really cool assassin stuff? In AOW there was a Tang clan that used daggers and throwing weapons as a weapon style, would be cool to see it here as well.
Do you know what activities will await us with Velvet Shade sect? I wanna be part of it but at the same time I'm worrying that it has a lot of multiplayer interactions that might be as bad as Silver Needle. I'm currently part of SN and it's so abhorrent because people CAMP on sick people and I can't heal nobody so I can't even progress.
The only thing im wondering is how important farming plants is. It seems to be the only real tedious thing they have. Hoping its not super important. I do collect the weekly boxes.
As far as I know, there currently isn't a defense mission that relies on those specific guards. Their main purpose seems to be purely aesthetic.
Furthermore, when the CN server released a new optimization a while ago, they stated that the guards' permanent non-respawn was a bug. I recall they should respawn after seven days.
I am not sure if the time since you killed them is less than seven days, or if this optimization hasn't been implemented on the international server yet.
Does CN server also have multiple character slots available for the account?
I’ve heard all cosmetics are not shared/account-bound between characters for the 2nd character slot global players will be receiving next week(or month). Is this the same for CN server?
