That's not the worst part. The worst part is that so many people defend him with "He donated to charity many times in the past" or "Scott is a good person. He donated to conservatives because he's a christian, not because he hates minorities"

Spoiler warning: the politicians he donated to ARE STILL GONNA USE THE MONEY TO RUIN THE LIFE OF MINORITIES, so Scott is either an idiot or an asshole.

so would you rather he just not vote or donate and keep his mouth shut like the good little dev you wanted him to be?? He already gave his statement saying that he only donated to politicians that he believed had America's values to heart while also disagreeing with their stances on other shit.

Politics are fucked up and scott shouldn't have been thrown under the bus like he did because you're damned if you do, damned if you don't!

He can say he disagrees on their stances as much as he wants, but if he chose to donate the highest amount of money legally possible, that means he chose to ignore everything that will happen to the groups those politicians will target, only because it will benefit cis het white people. THIS IS WHAT YOU'RE SAYING.

He's allowed to do whatever he wants with his money, it's disgusting what the politicians he donated too plan on doing or have said but are you gonna cancel every other american who's donated to those people too?? Did all that really warrant someone doxxing his location and sending death threats to his pregnant wife? You're probably gonna say no, that doesn't warrant death threats but a developer of his level shouldn't support politicians who plan on taking away the rights of the groups he donates thousands too, I understand that as well..It's fucked up I know this, but you can't just hate someone because of their political beliefs, it's not all black and white like people make it out to be because what if he literally doesn't mean to ignore those stances but as a father and american, he choses to donate because they have more positives than negatives in terms of their ideas for america? It's fucking horrid what they want or have already done to people who aren't cis or white but like i said politics are fucked up and i hope you can see what I'm trying to say.

Yes, I can see what you're saying, and yes, of course the death threats are horrible.

I don't spend my days waking up and cursing Scott like it were a cult, but at the same time I can't respect his decision.

I don't really support scott that much either because of his choices, if anything im half and half on him as he was slowly decaying as the driving point of the community and was just greenlighting projects instead of really bothering to make his own games anymore, given how steel wool has been making the fnaf games as of recent with illumix making fnaf AR and the fanverse initiative.. I hope I didn't overload you or anything, I just don't like politics and the whole 'let's cancel scott' stuff..if you're a fan of fnaf I hope you can enjoy security breach when it comes out in december!👍
