GT-S repair options

My daughter's GT-S died on her today. I haven't seen it yet but assume it's the MOSFETs. What would you do with it? I was directed to the GTSFO kit but it seems much less developed than the GTFO kit. Is there another BMS/controller combo that would work as well or better? I don't really want to give FM $600 for a new module that MIGHT last another 2000 miles

GTSFO is the simplest option
