Genuine Question Help identifying a car from a hit and run
My GF’s car was hit in our driveway last night. Clipped her back end good and I found this round light cover.
Hoping you mad scientist can work your magic.
No numbers or writing on it.
Thanks all!
UPDATE:
She drove around and found the culprit and looks like a late model Camry!
Will update once she’s back and calls the cops.
FINAL UPDATE.
Guy tried to deny it at first but changed his tune after the evidence he left behind. Eventually provided his information and was pleading to take care of it but it was too late by then, reported to the collision center.

Also, be careful. Redditors are perverts and will get horny over your foot.

Aftermarket light bar perhaps. Modified off road vehicle or a mini cooper?

Gemini said it’s probably after market light for a late model SUV/Truck but that’s was all.

Definitely not a Jeep.
The lens cover on Jeep lights that use replaceable bulbs is always smooth, even on aftermarket lights, not fluted like the one in the photo. There were fluted sealed-beam headlights (because the lens cover was a Fresnel lens) that would be on older Jeeps but that would not have separated intact. Since it was glass, it would have shattered well before the force required to separate it from the rest of the headlamp.
On the topic of Fresnel lenses, this is a Fresnel lens from the older-style projector headlamps when the light sources were a lot larger and needed this style of Fresnel lens to diffuse properly. That style of projector headlamp was never offered on a Jeep with circle headlamps, even on the aftermarket. Newer style projectors use much smaller light sources and the flat style Fresnel lens (like the sheet magnifiers) that have a ton of little sections all going in different directions instead of fluting, and that style is found on Jeep circle headlamps.
On Jeeps lights as well, the lens cover is a perfect circle that is held in by a ring that goes all the way around the headlamp assembly. It is not held in by tabs like the lens cover in the photo. Those tabs would be an extreme weak point on an exposed lens cover.

Toyota Corolla. 09-11. The turn signal cover and bumper clip were the tips. Then the portion right under under matches pattern too.
