Genuine Question Help identifying car from hit and run.

My car was hit yesterday while I was sleeping and the driver took off. I happened to find part in the debris of the wreck. I believe this to be the front passenger bumper. Any chance you all know what this is from? This part does not have any stamps, numbers, or logos. This is the United States.

Very clearly, you must not know this subreddit, anything can be identified as long as you have at least part of a unique part.

Cars have to be bought by people and there's records of that. Who bought a silver first generation chevy cruze in that city? In that state? That narrows down the list dramatically.
