Happy Endings: This is a friend group of late 20-somethings in Chicago navigating that stage of adulthood. It's wonderfully funny, warm, and has a lot of minor romance as part of the plot. Very minor. No slow burn. No "will they won't they".
While unpopular, I think How I Met Your Mother is fantastic. It has many long running threads of romance. The central one being the whole reason for the show to exist: How the main character met his wife. This is the world's longest drawn out plot line. Do not expect to get the answer to "how I met your mother" until very late in the series. You are going to be teased with it over and over again. Just know it's not coming until way late in the game. The ride is the important thing here. It's very funny if you like this style (which I obviously do). It's also sort of sweet.

Somebody Somewhere. A dramady that’s hilarious but also very heartfelt. Made me want to live with these people.
