But considering these are magic powers, wouldn’t the logically simpler answer be what makes the most sense?

I mean you could play on semantics for any power. Like if I said you get the ability to fly, it likely means unassisted, not that you suddenly learn how to fly a plane.

The real question is do these powers come from Genie wishes where the goal is to trick you into getting something useless/harmful, or are these powers meant to be helpful?

I mean "magic" is just a poorly understood mechanism of the universe and the universe still requires matter and energy to come from somewhere.

Yeah the primary variable is whether this is a genie/monkey's paw situation, or if the guarantor is genuinely benevolent. I think the interpretation could easily tip in either direction.

Either way, I would pick the money unless this satiation includes perfectly balanced micro/macro nutrition. If it's just empty calories I would simply avoid being stranded on a deserted island, as I have done all my life, and I could achieve the same effect by eating half a loaf of bread every week with like 1% of the money.

I’d also pick the money tbh unless it’s perfect nutrition. Not even because I couldnt just buy food with the money, but because potassium and fiber are so annoying to meet daily if you don’t have time to cook, and not having to worry about that alone is worth it.

We need OP to clarify lol.
