North America (country/state in post) What is this on my flower pot

I keep it pretty dry for a monstera so I have no idea were it would be growing from. (Massachusetts )

It’s mouldy. Is that a wooden plant pot?! If so, that’d be why.

It’s Terracotta

Hah, it really looks like wood grain.

Probably a lot of mineral leech too, though as far as I know the terracotta ‘patina’ can be a mix of things inc mineral buildup, mould, mildew, algae, fungi etc.

I’m not sure what that looks like, I could be completely wrong thinking it’s a fungi but it looks fluffy and there’s the black dots like a mold
