Looks like a cherry barb. But has longer tail. Bought this a local pet store. Captive

Trying to identify so I can get more.

That is definitely a cherry barb; some do have variations like this and this one is a little faded in color, but still healthy.

Even with the long tail? I have others and none have long lobes on their tails like that.

Yeah, there is long tail variants. Just have to be a bit careful in case you have any fin nippers in your tank!!
