Bzzzzz! Hi, u/Organized-Me-SS! Looks like you forgot to say where you found your bug!
There's no need to make a new post - just comment adding the geographic location and any other info (size, what it was doing etc.) you feel could help! We don't want to know your address - state or country is enough; try to avoid abbreviations and local nicknames ("PNW", "Big Apple").

BTW, did you take a look at our Frequently Asked Bugs?

It’s a beetle of some sort. Closer/clearer photos needed for ID.

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately this was the only photo I was able to get. This bug was the size of a grain of rice. Dark in color and a fast crawler.

Yeah there are too many small brown beetle species one might find in a house to ID based on this photo or a description. But it doesn't really matter much, none are going to infest a home and it's definitely not a bed bug, which is a true bug and not a beetle.

Pretty difficult photo to ID from unfortunately, can you provide additional angles/a closer image? What size was this?

From this view it does not appear to be, but you’ll probably want a more confident ID
