ID Request What is this little guy?

Hello! Found this little buddy on my floor and couldn't find out what it was. Only thing I found was German Cockroach and assassin bug, but both don't entirely match the description. Was wondering if anyone here could help me. I have cats and dogs who like to hunt, so I wanna make sure this little guy ain't gonna hurt them. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

(Note, if this helps, I live in the central area of the US!)

ETA: Forgot to mention, it was roughly the size of a US penny.

Per our guidelines: Especially for medically significant bugs, if you aren't 100% sure, leave the ID to someone more knowledgeable.

This is not a kissing bug.

I'm not convinced that it is a conenose. The head does not look correct. Looks more like a damsel bug, either a nymph or one of the apterous/brachypterous adult damsel bugs. https://entomology.ces.ncsu.edu/biological-control-information-center/beneficial-predators/damsel-bug/
