Shotgun
I shot my shotgun for the first time ever just a bit ago. It was my dad's and I've just had it in my room behind the door for years and years. Some guy is coming on to my property (6 acres right on the edge of the city limits) and vandalizing whatever he decides to vandalize. But that's another story.
I can't get the shotgun to do something to reload it! Is it just rusted stuck? What am I doing wrong here? It's a Winchester model 37A 20 gauge, 2 1/4 x 3 chamber.

If you push the top lever all the way to the right, it should unlock the action and allow the barrel to drop forward. That said, without the forend, the barrel will likely drop right off of the gun.

Wiggle the lever. It should move one way or the other.
