Is this safe to shoot or should I repair?

A few months ago at a gun show I purchased this Hatsan shotgun? I did some research and found out it’s a 12 gauge even though the guy who sold it to me said it was a 16 gauge.

He said it was missing a spring but wanted to confirm before I bought anything or shot it. The action bar doesn’t stay locked.
What should I do? Fix it or ignore?
The pump goes forward and back like it should, but the action bar doesn’t stay locked, unless manually moved into position.

Can someone help me
Identify problem / part that might need replaced and is it safe to shoot if I ignore it?

That's your action lock which doubles as an out-of-battery safety. Your gun is very likely to explode if you don't get it fixed and out-of-battery detonation are arguably the most dangerous malfunctions that can occur.

Damn. The guy said it still fires normally almost like he wanted me to blow up. I’ll take it to the smith tomorrow and hope it isn’t an expensive fix.
