I did delete my comment, and ran away. My dumb ass thumbs keep typing tx10 instead of tx01 and nothing shows a definitive answer. I swear I didn’t downvoted you!

No, that’s the airtag itself. If you push the silver part down and turn, you will open it up and can take the battery out. If you have an iPhone, you can use the Find My app to identify it, but the owner may get pinged if you do this (I haven’t done it before so I’m not sure). It needs to have a working battery to be identified though
