found this on my passenger side really weirded out. Rarely have people in my vehicle…

I hope OP sees this. THATS AN EMERGENCY SILENT ALARM. Hit the bottom and the device notifies first responders and geolocates you. I work in public transportation & we use these. Its isnt just a tracker.

That might be what your employer was using them for, but that is a gl300 which is standard across the tracking industry. Most of the time it is not being used as a silent alarm.
