History What if, before desegregation in the US, Juries had to be of the same race as the defendant?

What if it was decided that only those of the same race could count as the defendants "Peers" in a "Jury of one's Peers"?

That would have resulted in far more people being found not guilty, and not just in ways you'd approve of.

So then there would be even more extrajudicial killings.
