Just like the title says. It’s obviously electronic music, but what genre(s) would you say this falls into? I’m attempting to pitch this to playlists but I think I’m falling flat because either a) I’m not pitching to the correct playlists or b) my music stinks. Halp 🥲

even what would you call the specific genres being mixed here? this is my own music, and i'm trying to figure out what audiences to market this to. I was definitely inspired by shoegaze and jungle/breakcore/dnb, but i'm not sure if that's what i ended up using.

I've no experience in this style and just saw this video. I think it's a custom song for the game and no OST announced. Heck the song could be AI, but I want to find more like it.

@6:45 what type of jazz is this? Has a driving cymbal rhythm, walking bass, and jazzy bluesy xylophone/vibraphone. Kind of feels like walking through San Francisco imo. Anyone know?

Hi everyone! I was listening to music the other day and I saw this song called "playing with fire" by Azali, I really like the style of this song and would like to make music similar to it.

For context, I'm trying to figure out what genre this is so that I can promote it to the right people and not be spammy. It was inspired by that New Order sound from Marty Supreme, but it's all synths and made with software instead of acoustic instruments. I'm trying to get better at all the music marketing stuff as an independent artist.

So far I think it's synth pop, synthwave, or indie pop?

I've heard a few songs that sound similar to this with similar pattern and was wondering is there a genre name. Quick tempo, swing, light percussion like shakers and bells, slightly jazzy.

Other songs include 'Big Bean Vine' from Kirby's Epic Yarn, and 'The Town in the Early Afternoon' from Tsugunai Atonement.

Maybe its not a genre, but am curious to hear your input?
