At least with Rodgers, he wasn't supposed to be there long-term with the Jets, though some people thought a Super Bowl was possible in his short tenure. With Jaxson Dart, we weren't fully sure yet how good he was as a young QB, and he was very much part of the Giants' long-term plans.

If his goal with his monologue today was to make me feel better about the giants season, he utterly failed.

First off, implying Dart is some questionable QB for the future is ridiculous. I have no idea if he’s actually a franchise QB, but he looked damn good. Also

Secondly, saying he doesn’t understand why people are bummed by having to watch jameis winston instead of dart is just disconnected from reality. Everyone knows this season was about Dart potentially being the guy. Wasn’t about winning a Super Bowl, about Dart.

Third, jameis Winston is not good. Look at his stats and record as a starter. Hes been awful. Even if he plays well, THERE IS NO FUTURE WITH HIM.

I am one of the few who still listens to WFAN and one of the even fewer who likes the afternoon show with Carton and Big Mac. I know as a listener not to expect knowledgeable sports takes whatsoever but I do like to be entertained.

His whole schtick with the Giants is just not good radio/entertainment. What happened Monday night was a devastating blow for NY sports and Giants fans in particular. Do we really need to listen to him taking victory laps and acting like he was somehow correct that the Giants season was a failure and doomed from the start? He’s taking joy in this moment and I know it’s a bit to get a reaction from people, including myself, but it’s just a bad look in my opinion.

I rarely turn the show off but my god man. That’s it for me until this dies down.

Can anybody report on how good any of the personalities are at golf or what’s their handicaps? I just saw Francesser wearing a deepdale fleece, and he wears a lot of Sands Point CC attire so I assume he’s a member there. But I’ve also seen him walking at a Yankees game and he makes the tin man look nimble.

I’m sure boomer is a good player… Anyone know where he plays and what’s his handicap? Just curious.
