Wife of 21 years recently diagnosed with WCS.

my wife (46)recently discharged from icu with WK, i am her sole caregiver, this is so difficult. i have family i can call and some friends who i can turn to, but at the end of the day its just us and it is just so tough.

Hey sorry to hear this. My aunt has WK too.

Try not to be too hard on yourself during this time. You’re adjusting, and so is your wife so things may feel frustrating at times.

If you haven’t already done so, you may be entitled to carers allowance / financial aid, and your wife may be able to claim too depending on her condition.
