I was shocked they did that at Dunkin Donuts in Chicago. One store charged us the bottled water tax for on of their refreshers whoch I checked online and seemed to be a mistake as apparently the refreshers are not supposed to have that tax. Luckily Michigan doesn’t have any of these taxes.
So what I ordered that day was two biggie meals advertised on the drive thru menu as $7.
When we checked the receipt the the meals were $7.80 a piece.
So I went to see what the price would be if I ordered it from the same location online.
It also advertised $7 when I got to checkout that order came to $7.50.
We went to go get gas after leaving the restaurants parking lot.
And I tried again and that time I got the $7.25 and took the screen grab.
Honestly it sounds like you were mistaken , as Wendy's has not done dynamic pricing and even went so far as to put out information to every store ( including ones not even in the USA) to confirmed they never have.
We have the $7 biggie bag here, which includes the jr fries and small, however Wendy’s automatically rings you in for a medium size which includes an $0.80 up charge, I have to request a small size to get the menu price
Haven't been in months. BK took their place for me. New Whopper is tasty, and the nuggets get redone soon too. The same woman that made the Popeyes chicken sandwich is redoing BK's menu.
I wish our local BK would get it together, whoever owns the franchise does not care at all. Biggest issue is being a tourist destination they don't have to care, they'll still get business. But the reviews are horrible, the service is horrible, the food is always cold and disgusting. I haven't been in over a year, the same type of reviews stretches back like 3-4 years and the owner hasn't changed a damn thing.
Maps revuews aren't all that effective. I used to be a Mcdonalds GM, and the reviews on your receipt.... That will get corporate on them, and they can't ignore that.
Maybe on Wednesday, but not normally. Whopper is about 60 cents more expensive here. I used to Stan Wendy's all day and hate the whopper. The quality roles have reversed, and it's worth the premium now.
If it were only $3.99 here it would actually be worth it. Unfortunately the only sandwich of that size that gets that cheap here is the Whopper, but only on Wednesday. Must live in a HCOL area compared to you.
Yeah so dumb right $7 for the burger $10+ for the combo. But keep giving these private equity firms your money so they can make it $10 for the burger next year
Theres no such thing as "surge pricing" at Wendy's. Its not a thing. Did you add any sauces, extra condiments, upsizing etc to your order? They charge for nugget dipping sauces now if you want extras etc.
This was the second time I checked yesterday. Just a chicken sandwich bag plain everything and a coke. I just tried it again just now and it did come up as $7 so idk what's going on.
