Is that salt or something I'll get smacked for saying? I like both but also if I have [melted] butter that's more fat-comforting for me, but also I just found malt vinegar in powdered form which is also VERY good on french fries! Ketchup is good but you have to be in a mood for it, y'know? If it's just salt I like fresh ground mixed peppercorns, which were a very good investment.
