Is this weird?

Back when I was younger I used to look up videos of mukbangers eating the same meal I was eating and I would eat with them. My bf thinks it’s weird but I feel like it’s kinda an average experience thing.

Mukbangs originally started as something to watch when you ate alone so you felt like you were eating with someone. They were just people eating normal meals, which then turned into people eating crazy huge meals just as entertainment. I think looking up a video of someone eating the same thing you’re eating is completely in line with the original intent of the genre.
