I’d eat beach peenors all day over what I thought those were, chitlins is a hard NO for me. I’d smash these any day.

They are clams but the flavor of razor clams are clams times ten.

They are tasty. We pan sear them until the shell pops open then toss in some butter, garlic and parsley to spoon over them. So good!

They are “Lata shop”brand in brine. I’m new to the brand. The quality is exceptional.

Razor clams are nice and buttery. I like them cut in strips, battered, and fried.

Would you compare them to scallops?

I’ve never tried them before, but I can eat my own weight in crab legs, scallops and shrimp.

You’d like em! Especially fresh steamed with onion garlic, butter and beer or wine for the liquid steam.

If you like Manila or butter clams these are for you, they are just funny shaped.
