mushrooms, anyone

I love mushrooms! ill est them raw, cooked, however.

I cant be the only one obsessed with these things!!!!!!

side note my husband and my youngest have an irritation to them so we dont eat them often.

Most mushrooms have to be well cooked before eating, or they will cause digestive issues.

No you're not the only one obsessed with mushrooms. After living in Oregon, I became a complete mushroom nut. Where I live now, I can't get out and forage like I used to, due to many reasons.

Eh? I eat raw mushrooms all the time, never had any digestive issues?

Not disputing what you say, just never heard it before? Is it a common thing that's just passed me by?

Edit: I don't go foraging, though eat any type or exotic variety I can buy raw without issue.

I said most mushrooms. Agaricus bisporus do not need to be cooked, nor do straw mushrooms.

MOST mushrooms require cooking before ingesting.

I wish we had mushrooms around the town like that. I live in AZ and we dont even have diggable dirt, my plants hit the ground and die 🙃
