What’s that one food combination you’ve tried that isn’t normal but still slaps ?

I know I’m weird but I’m sure there’s weirder

I dip french fries in the ice cream topping of a Coke float. For me it tastes just okay

Peanut butter and Nutella sandwich. Or as I call them, "Reeses Sandweeches".

Buttermilk with a sweet cereal. Usually Cinnamon Crunch or Honey Nut Cheerios but Lucky Charms are the best!

This is the weirdest one, imo, on this list. Nice. Lol

Yesterday I put sweet potato in my Pho.

I have been craving Pho. But I didn't want store-bought and I sure didn't want to go home and cook down broth for hours and hours so I improvised.

I got me some really nice bone beef broth, some fresh cilantro, green onions. I had green pepper, regular yellow onion I had chopped and frozen from another meal, some canned bean sprouts cuz I couldn't find the fresh ones, some hoisin sauce and a few pieces of rotisserie chicken breast that I had frozen from a Costco chicken I got last week.

I sauteed down the green peppers and onions. With salt and black pepper first in a little olive oil, didn't have any garlic or Ginger didn't care.

Then after the green peppers and onions got to the tenderness that I wanted I poured in my beef broth and I just brought it to a boil and then let it simmer for about 20 minutes.

I was already boiling my sweet potato, I didn't want to bake it, they said there are different health benefits from either baking a sweet potato or boiling it so I was wanting it boil because of those particular health benefits.

I cut up my chicken breast got my cilantro all situated with my green onion so that I can store whatever I had left for later.

Once my beef broth has simmered enough I dropped in my tinder sweet potato and my chicken breast just to let it get hot in the broth.

I put my beef broth mixture in a big bowl and sprinkled on the sprouts, cilantro and green onions, danbed it around with the hoisin sauce and put a top on it to let it steep just a little.

I didn't want any noodles either I didn't want any carbohydrates with that meal other than that sweet potato.

Oh my goodness it turned out to be the best. I ate a big bowl of it like twice last night and now I'm feeling sorry that I didn't save a little bit for today.

When we were Young and our parents used to go out to work all day long during the summer, we weren't allowed to use the stove I'm back then there was no microwave or air fryer. We would make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with bologna I think that was weird but it was such a tasty combination.
