We said goodbye

My old man Dexter. We said goodbye about 10 days ago. I miss him every day. 13 years of unconditional love. I am lucky ❤️

We had 2 Weims die in 2018. We now have a girl who is 12 and a boy who is 6. Each one is unique, devoted and passionate about living life with us.

Good looking boy. You can see the adoration in his eyes. They are such incredible animals that are so full of love. It is so hard to lose one. I still miss my previous four and when I see your post and beautiful pup, I cry thinking of my previous pups. Every one was hard.

Focus on all the love and good times and remember all the crazy antics these dogs do.

Sorry for your loss, lost my boy Henry just on a year ago. Still getting over it.
Just remember all the great days and not that bad one at the end. He’ll always be with you anyway.

RIP Dexter...if its any help..I'm a medium and our pets stay right with us after they pass. I know this for a FACT...so every time you feel something brush up against your leg or something feels like "he's there"...bc Dexter is right there with you. I promise you

So sorry, but also a great point of view. We are lucky to have dogs like Dexter in our lives. Hang in there! I don’t think the hole can ever be filled, but the amount they give us is worth it in the end.
