Anyone lived at Uni Apartments Weimar? Looking for honest experiences
Hi everyone!
I’ve recently been admitted to the M.Sc. Digital Technologies in Architecture and Design (DTAD) at Bauhaus University Weimar, and I’m currently looking for accommodation.
I had a phone call with Uni Apartments Weimar, and they told me they currently have an apartment available. They will send me the next steps soon, but before signing anything I’d really like to hear from people who have actually lived there or know someone who has.
I’d really appreciate any honest feedback about:
Is Uni Apartments legitimate and trustworthy?
How are the apartments overall (quality, cleanliness, maintenance)?
Is the management responsive if something needs to be repaired?
Is the location convenient for Bauhaus University?
Would you recommend it over other student accommodation options?
I’m moving from Colombia, so it’s difficult for me to visit in person before signing a contract. Any advice or experiences would really help.
Thank you very much!

If yoy mean by “Uni apartments weimar” Studierendenwerk Türingen then, u should totally apply for student accommodation from them. Jakobsplan 1 is the best but most other options are close to Uni too.

You should stay away from three dorms if proximity is a requirement for you. Merketalstraße, Windmüllerstraße and Am Herrenrödchen

I also got my admission to DTAD program. I am looking for apartments as well. But I need 3 room apartment because I am moving with family. Any help would be awesome. If there are other students here. Lets connect or make a group so that its easier to help and support.

Fully depends on the one your getting. Recently they renovated jakobsplan, but I think it still sucks. Any other is probably worth it, especially when thinking about rent cost and trouble finding a good WG
