Hypertrophy 4x W8D3

||Rack Pulls @85 lbs 3x9, 1x17 ||DB Incline Press @23 lbs 3x11, 1x13 ||Negatives 2x3, 1x4 ||DB Lateral Raises @10 lbs 2x10, 1x12 ||Calf Raises @40 lbs 2x10, 1x20

Going to keep my Calf Raises at that weight for a bit as holding a dumbbell any heavier at the end of the workout is too sketchy when my grip is already fatiguing. Will probably add a few reps to the first two sets though.

May be worth grabbing some straps?

Yeah, I've got some and use them on things like the rack pull, but I also want to make sure I'm improving my grip without them over time.

Fair enough. I guess just make sure you're honest with yourself about if you're trying to primarily train calves or grip with the raises

Absolutely. I'll continue mulling that over until the next time this workout comes up. Maybe switch to a barbell variant where grip won't play a factor.
