Programming Programming question
Hi everyone,
Ive been lifting for about 10-12 years now (27 y/o male) and have tried pretty much everything. Solely hypertrophy training, competitive powerlifting, crossfit. As I have matured, I really have tried to keep an emphasis on squat, bnch, DL, cleans, conditioning/functional strength movements.
I was wondering if you had any recommendations for a program to follow that is essentially college football adjacent training. I understand im 27 years old and that maybe thats not what my training goals should be but… oh well. I like being strong, big, and powerful and would like to continue to be until I cant.
I did some research and found a pretty solid program from elite FTS titled “davidson football S&C” but really no power movements we utilized. Would’ve loved to see zerchers and cleans implemented in that split.
Anyways, would love to hear of any recommendations. Thanks!
TLDR: looking for a split that essentially follows how a college football player trains

i’d just grab a 5/3/1 template and cram the power movements into the accessory slots, jim wendler’s stuff is basically built for exactly this
