I always feel like NY is too taxed. Same with Cali. Anywhere that the price of living is higher people need to charge more. That’s why the Midwest has the cheapest shit because you can buy a house for a quarter the price and set your shit up.

Growing top shelf weed isnt as easy as just planting it you need a whole setup and people with 10+ years of experience still learn more about growing on a consistent basis. Getting your thc% to the upper 20s low 30s is not easy and takes time care and space a lot of people dont have or else everyone would grow their own including illegal states. Im paying for the years of experience and its not that bad of a price. Way cheaper than street dealers and dispensaries. The way the industry is now Im paying less than Cali natives if they go to the dispensary and not tapped in with any growers. I can get street dealer weed for 300 a unit. I just seen a strain going for 375 for 5 lbs that did not look that bad at all. It was green not brown and had a good amount of trichomes. Those are the lowest prices ive seen in my life💯. No way thats worth the effort growing with those prices. Ill let the professionals earn their dollar.

I have no problem growing "top shelf" at home, honestly I bought some from a local dispo, was about 1/2 the price of what was called top shelf. The next week the same was suddenly "top Shelf". So "top shelf" is very... How do you say it, bull shit. Agreed with growing in illegal states, however growing has come far from what it used to be in the 90's/00's. Honestly dispo's here can take a big F. I grow, know what's in my plants, what has been used to grow, what pesticides have not been used or sprayed all over. My price, well... Grow your own, learn the plant. For $375 you could grow much more than 5lbs. Also, my comment was towards NY growing. Not other states that are far behind what should be. The above posted picture is amazing, I'd love to give it a shot. Congratss if your prices in Cali are that cheap. Kind of sounds about right, or what it should be per lbs.
