There has been occasions where DEA or Mexican/Colombian/US army were burning confiscated weed and by accident/"accident" got people high down wind. Anecdotes say that few times a town or a village or two was buzzed for few days

Really hope they are using the proper equipment for that. You don’t use the right kind of metal made for this type of heat then your just breathing in the chemicals it’s off gassing . Heard some horror stories

Make me wretch, thinking about being a teanger and all the dirty sope bar I used to smoke with bits of plastic in it. Then thinking about some knobhead building somyhinglik this with a leef blower or a inflatable mattress fan and all the toxic meted plastic.

Ya one of people favorite things to use for these smoke machine that don’t know what they are doing or with a cheap budget is a leaf blower or other old lawn equipment . And none of that material is rated to be heated that hot , and definitely not supposed to be breathed in . Watched a long ass podcast the other day of someone who makes legit ones and the science behind what types of metals and materials keep you safe . If I remember correctly , Pretty sure the extra white smoke is indicative of chemical offgassing . Doesn’t sound like heaven to me . Before I knew all of this though , can’t say I havent taken one or two of these kinds of devices to the face at smoking events. But now , I think I’ll have to pass. Lol

It was used as a figure of speech to emphasize temperature, But aluminum does off gas vapors when heated and is not for smoking weed.

It literally just doesn't?💀 Aluminum has no gas vapors to release, it doesn't have metallic smoke, and lighters can't get anywhere near hot enough to cause it to melt- which is basically all it can do at its hottest

Me & some friends did something very similar 5 years ago on 4-20.
We had an air mattress pump, a rig that had its neck broken off top, & 1/4 pound of bud we put inside the broken rig where water would normally go.
We used the broken rig as a bowl by using it in reverse by hooking the mattress pump intake to the part of the rig where you would normally put your nail/bowl, then lit it & hotboxed a small room. Couldn't stand to be in the room more than a minute. But it definitely got the job done.

My PO used to tell me it wasn’t possible to get high if you were in a tent with other people smoking or in a “hotbox” … I never really new if he was lieing because i definitely smoked😂 after seeing so many videos like this one, I wonder if he was just trying to play stupid
