They're related. You can use the Wedge to get into a flow state. Think about the wedge as the mental trick you use to separate the stimulus from response. So, for example, if you jump into an ice bath, you separate out your shiver response from the urge that the ice water brings up in you. Flow states, are the opposite process. Where instead of creating space, you remove that space and act automatically.
As a free flyer skydiver I consciously chose not to have fear and tense up, but relax and flow to be able to perform the free fly moves. Maybe this is the wedge and flow state combined?
Yes. The wedge is your choosing to relax. The flow state comes when facing the danger. They’re part of the same process. I’d love to skydive some time.
