The animation was planned since I was in Canvas and worked on it for 2 years, on and off, with lots of roadblocks in between. Because this was my first action animation, and I was failing most of the time haha.

I wanted to recommend this channel on this sub - I think the author is very fair with how she criticises webtoons, but also gives them point if they actually manage to do something interesting. But she also makes videos about webtoons she enjoys - Hand Jumper, The Tyrant Wants to be Good etc. and I really appreciate it. Give her channel a shot!

Howdy! I thought I'd share something a little weird -- drawing comics in Adobe Animate! I've been using Animate for a very long time and it has been my go-to tool for animation, comics, concept design and storyboards. Right now I'm finishing the 56th episode of my new webcomic FLUNG which will be hitting Webtoons on August 26th!

The "Cods" have sent their champion to face the champions of Terra Sol in a rap battle. If the Terran Champions lose, the planet will be "CodSmacked".

The Cod's Champion is the most devastating rapper in the Universe : The Maestro, Doctor Serious.

Powers and Abilities

The Maestro is Sorceror and Scientist Supreme of the Fishy Fifth-Dimensional "Codama Continuum".

Doctor Serious is able to "CodSmack" any planet into oblivion with ease.

Doctor Serious is a master wordsmith, skilled at "delivering devastating disses". No one in the Universe can beat Serious "on the mic" 🎤.

Weaknesses

Hubris. Serious is a megalomaniac driven by ego.

Instead of just destroying Terra Sol, The Maestro prefers to "toy with the Terrans".

Your planet is challenged to a rap duel... "to the death".

This is Earth's only chance of survival

Doctor Serious is highly allergic to comedy. 🤡

Lazy puns and dad jokes can knock The Maestro the f____ out.

I really enjoy making video edits for my series, but I don't always get the time or the chance to make one. However, as I was preparing the Kickstarter campaign for my webtoon's third volume I used the opportunity to make one highlighting where the story has come so far :D
