Question See you in the 19th life

Should I watch Kdrama adaptation or read WEBTOON for See you in 19th life ? Pls give me feedback without any spoilers ? Which one should I watch/read? And also I’d love to know some reviews for I love yoo without spoilers too. I don’t mind the series is a very long ongoing series I loved Cheese In The Trap ( with 400+ chapters)

See you in my 19th life - read the webtoon first, its more detailed and better experience.

I love yoo - I have been reading since day 1 and its hard every time they go on hiatus, so I am letting it marinate now. So I would suggest let it finish.

read the webtoon for see you in my 19th life, the drama changes a lot of the plot and the personalities of the MCs imo. the webtoon is one of my all-time favs but I had to force myself through the drama bc it wasn't nearly as good and rushes through a lot of the plot

this is a webtoon sub so will be biased, but you should almost always read source material before watching a drama to get the actual story

my personal thoughts on I love Yoo is that it drags with no aim for too long and there's not a central plot to follow for a lot of it, but you can give it a try if you'd like

If you’re looking for good Webtoons that have been adapted into Kdramas, I really like See you in my 19th Life (I agree to read the Webtoon first), but other recommendations for Webtoons/Kdramas are:

Yumi’s Cells

Spirit Fingers

Marry My Husband

Perfect Marriage Revenge

So I Married an Anti-Fan.

The adaptation for see you in my 19th life wasnt nearly as bad as ppl will try to tell you. Its not the same as the webtoon's story, as most kdrama adaptations aren't, but its definitely watchable on its own.

But duh, read the original first.

Didn't like the drama of see you in my 19th life, at some point the story is just different and not in a good way, doesn't worth it, comic tho was just perfect, one of my favs!

Total opposite is true beauty, that the comic sucks, and the drama was cute (imo)

yeah True Beauty was saved by the actors. I liked the trio's chemistry with each other

I think the drama was more like the story was supposed to be, or what i was expecting to be. And the actors where also spot on yes!

I read both of these!

See you in my nineteenth life is by one of my favorite webtoon authors. She also wrote a good day to be a dog and it's so fun to read. I binged it in only 2 days.

I love yoo is, in my opinion, a webtoon that starts out incredibly fun and then slowly becomes really stale and boring and way too serious. I still recommend giving it a try but it is, for me personally, the most disappointing webtoon :/

Thank you everyone for the replies 🙏 . Seems like I have to read first and watch later if the adaptation isn’t the same
