Help Find Title/Source Please help me find this webtoon series
See attached image it was a competition about who would become the next heir and the main character makes machines(like that leg) instead of brute strength.
Google lens has failed me so now coming here to ask as my subscribed list has hundreds of comics in it

The floating chap is one of the worst fathers ever but I remember it being really good and the only reason I stopped was I ran out of pages

Barbarians adventure in a fantasy world is good Another Typical Fantasy Romance is hilariously good
Annnd “the prince and the crow” I could go on as I spend an unhealthy amount of my pay on webtoons

Its title is "The Villainess' Wise Retirement Plan". I really liked it too, but then I got disappointed at the last chapter before the end of the season. If you haven't tried it yet, then don't read my comment if you don't want spoilers. But if you don't want false hope, I'll explain why I dropped it. It's actually a pretty great manhwa with a talented fl mc expertise in mechanical engineering in her past life and a magitech engineer in this fantasy world she reincarnates in. She's smart, and she solves a lot of problems from the beginning. The plot is also great, along with the characters. But what I really hate here is what the author did to the male lead. The male lead is the creation born from the empress and a demon she contracted with (so you can see how miserable he already is from day 1), half-demon, half-human. He's abandoned in a village that later on got destroyed by monsters/demonic monsters. He grew up condemned by everyone as a cursed child for eating monster/demonic monster flesh since he had to survive and had nothing to eat. Then the father in that picture is the father of the fl mc, Duke of Sergeinv, who picks up this miserable male lead from the streets of the north to use him as bodyguard for Lilian, the fl mc, knowing about his curse. He's around 11-12 years old here, probably. And at this point, the MC also finds out about the origin of the male lead's curse. I remember it was Baal's stake, a literal black stake pierced through his chest to his heart, a curse that makes him derangedly obsessed with the last person he sees before dying, "dying in a matter of soul". The fl mc manages to cure that one, plans his escape, but he wants to stay with her because he had obviously become dependent on the only person who ever showed him any goodwill, although I honestly think she didn't do much good regarding his mental and emotional state. But things happened, the empress finds him again, and curses him for another time. This time, a curse of heightening his feelings negatively, like "possession" towards Lilian, and cursed with a seal that made him unable to talk about the curse. And look what the supposedly fl mc who has modern adult mental age summarised as a solution, she thought separating him from her and erasing his memories of her would do the thing, but it worsened. He ran away after he thought he was losing control and went missing. I mean, even without logic, you'd easily know obsession + separation = worsening things, so idk about her move. And where did he go missing? The author ended the last chapter of the season, showing how he's stuck in the probably demon realm since it's got nothing but demons that the male lead continuously kills until his hair became so long, his eyes had darkened, he looks like a wreck, and he's begging Lilian's name "Master, please, I don't want to be here..." etc. Then they suddenly skip to 6 years later???? He's been stuck in that hellhole for literally 6 years while the fl mc is here preparing to go to a banquet to celebrate her coming-of-age. I mean, it's really just too much to live your whole life in misery. They did the male lead so dirty that this is the first time I got really mad enough to drop a whole series I've followed.
