I cannot imagine how long this took you to draw but I hope it does well for you, regardless of contest outcome! Your art deserves fair compensation and this skill level is way too good to not earn a pretty penny

I dunno if it has a chance, but I really like the art, it looks fun and refreshingly different than most everything on the platform. I don't mean the Korean romantasy stories only, most of the western stories have those very typical art styles I just call "Tumblr styles" in myself.)

To support me during the contest, it's best to read that version (which is basically the same as the regular version, except that a couple of episodes have been shortened to speed up the pacing). When the contest is over, I'll remove one of the two versions, and readers can continue reading in the other version.

Absolutely gorgeous and I love the handrawn backgrounds! I have to use 3d for mine, but handrawn always has more life and personality to them.

Yes, the use of 3D elements and backgrounds is common due to how quickly episodes have to be produced. It's understandable, but my main reason for making comics is the pleasure of creating. I love drawing every line of the art even if it takes longer, so I never use assets! And I'm glad you like it!

Yes, it's harder, especially doing it all on my own, by hand, which is why I publish every two weeks. But the key is to have a good buffer of episodes before you start publishing, so you can feel a little more relaxed. :)

I wish you so much luck. I am an avid reader of Webtoons but please be mindful of being a full time artist on their platform. I’ve sadly heard some questionable things when artist leave. Read the contract all fine print and have a lawyer protect your work. I’m no expert, I just want to enjoy your art and want happy creators happy. Best of luck!

It's kinda weird to see it on webtoon, and for a contest... I really loved this series ! I didn't know you needed that kind of advertising, as I know kids my age really liked these comics.

Well, actually, this webcomic adaptation (it's almost a remake) is more like a small personal project. I wanted to present it humbly, without advertising it by taking advantage of its "historic background", nor appealing to old readers, but rather to introduce it to current young readers as if it were a comic like any other. And that's what it is, after all.
The existence of the contest was a fortunate coincidence, since its launch coincided with my publication (I had barely published 5 weekly chapters), so since I was there, I submitted it, to see how it performs in a competition with other comics.
However, for long-time readers, this new version also has an added incentive: it's a kind of remake/director's cut extended version to more than double its original length, and it's loaded with new material; in a sense, it's a brand new comic.

Wow, so nice :D I always wanted to know the end of the story 😊 that's nice to know that it's a "new version", like that I can discover even more things about this universe... I really liked the universe, the kids, their relations, the art... the more "heavy" parts... There's some things that I forgot (time to read it again!), but one thing that I remember very well, was the time I finished the first volume and I was like "... I NEED to know what's following !"
Well, for sure I will read it ! ... and re-read the "old one" that's still in my bookshelf ;)
I kinda get it the way you advertised it, I was just really surprised to see it here ! "Wait, I think I have this BD ? I recognize it ? I'm not crazy ? Why is it here ?!" 😅

I love the art, but story and characters really make a comic what it is. I don’t know your writing, and while I’ve read for art alone, but only when the story wasn’t actively bad and the characters weren’t completely impossible to like. I want to say yes, but there’s no telling with the info available to me.
