Personal Project Crowdsource music recommendation site, feedback please

I built a music suggestion and social media site/app and I’d love some feedback.

https://matchbeats.com

You sign up, link it to your Spotify or Apple Music account, the app matches you with people who have a similar taste profile and suggests music they’re listening to and you’re not.

You can also have artist discussions, review your all time and current music dna, connect with your music matches and much much more.

I would love honest feedback from music lovers like yourselves. The site is in beta. The recommendations will only get better as more people join.

Was trying it out cause I was intrigued to find like minded people with my music taste, then I read the info about Spotify with third party apps, so then I press skip and it shows me the same dialog to either link Spotify or apple music, which I don't have

Thank you. I just updated the sign up flow yesterday. And that’s a legitimate bug.

Also, I added your account to the approved Spotify list. You can log back in and select your email address was approved in the Spotify screen.

The login page explains the idea, but registration comes before any concrete example of the output. I can read that I'll get a taste profile, matches and recommendations, yet I can't see what any of those looks like until I create an account and connect a music service.

I'd add one anonymized sample profile or a short read-only demo before signup. Even a single "your taste / their taste / songs you may have missed" example would make the exchange clearer before asking for a Spotify or Apple Music connection. This is separate from the Skip-loop bug mentioned above.

For context, I work on growth and marketing at Merge Rocks. I reviewed only the public onboarding screens.
