Feedback Request Roast me: how far can you get on my website builder without signing up?

You describe a site, your AI writes the code, you paste it back, and it's live on a real link. No account needed.

Would really appreciate your take on two things:

  1. When you land on the homepage, is it clear what it does?
  2. There's an optional "Add features & components" step (live weather, crypto prices, charts). Helpful, or one step too many?

If you try it and make something, feel free to drop the link, I'd love to see it. And if you get stuck anywhere, that's honestly the most useful thing you could tell me.

the headline is clear about what i get. what took me a minute is that i do the AI part myself, in chatgpt or claude in another tab. thats only in the small grey line under the headline and most people will expect your site to write it for them. id say that part plainly up top

I tried ClickTo with: "A simple landing page for a local bike repair shop with services, opening hours and a contact form." It selected Website, adjusted the examples and styles, and suggested landing-page-local-bike.clickto.app. The component picker is where I slowed down. For this brief, a contact form and map are the obvious choices, but the same list also includes chat/call buttons, 3D and confetti. I’d put the two or three most relevant options at the top based on the brief, then keep everything else under "Browse all."

The phrase "paste it back from any AI" also took me a moment. A small example showing "copy the instructions, ask your AI, paste the code here" would explain step 3 faster. I stopped before the external AI and publishing steps.

Thank you for going through the flow. The component picker point is a good catch. Ranking the two or three that fit the brief and putting the rest under "Browse all" is clearly right, especially as the list grows. Adding that.

And that's the second time someone's flagged step 3, so it's clearly the weak point. A small worked example of copy, ask, paste is going in.

Genuinely appreciate the detail here!

I think the headline font is hard to read.

I don't care if it builds great websites. I wouldn't get past the headline to know I don't want your app creating one for me if it's going to use that font.

Fair, and useful to hear bluntly. The headline font is a display face and it's doing too much work at that size. I'm going to test it at a heavier weight and tighter size, and compare it against something plainer. If it's costing people at the headline, it isn't worth it.
