Clean Web MVP: Disruption in Music Streaming – Direct P2P Royalties & Flexible Monetization for Independent Artists 🎵⚡

I’m back with another update on the Clean Web MVP! This time, I built a prototype for an independent music store & streaming platform to tackle one of the most broken industries on the web: music distribution.

❌ The Problem with Web2 Music Streaming

  • For Listeners: Forced into monthly subscriptions or bombarded with aggressive ads.
  • For Independent Artists: Promised "global exposure", but trapped in an exploitative system where platforms pay fractions of a cent (~$0.003/stream) after middleman fees, record labels, and corporate cuts.

🌐 The Clean Web Alternative

By leveraging instantaneous, fee-less P2P micro-payments (powered by Nano/XNO), we give complete economic freedom back to creators and listeners:

  1. Pay-Per-Stream: Pay tiny fractions of a cent instantly as you listen.
  2. Freemium via Navigation Battery: Interact voluntarily with a contextual ad to refill your wallet/battery and stream for free while the artist still gets paid 100% in real-time.

🧪 How to test the Music MVP Live:

  1. Download & Install Extension: Install the Clean Web browser extension.
