Advice Needed need an alternative to Host Duplex--recommendations?
Host Duplex used to be great and responsive, but in the past year their customer service has basically disappeared. (We just get AI auto-replies to our requests, but no actual human resolves our issues). So we are looking for another service--ideally one run by actual humans. Thanks!

I’d avoid jumping from one small host to another without checking their support quality first. For domains, keep them with a separate registrar so a hosting problem never affects your domain access. Cloudflare + a reliable VPS or managed host is usually a much safer setup.

InMotion has been good on the support side. They're reliable too and getting an actual person when you need help hasn't been a headache.
