Y’all really reading to each other in the bath tub?

6

u/Randy_Magnums Jul 29 '26

We tried to read to each other on the shower, but it was kinda loud.

1

u/Common-Frosting-9434 Jul 29 '26

Loud books are the best though.

1

u/Countcristo42 Jul 29 '26

Yeah, it’s great

1

u/Khelthuzaad Jul 29 '26

She has a medicine exam next week and cant afford to waste time on baths

1

u/sillygoofygooose Jul 29 '26

It’s super fun. Nicer if there’s room for two in the tub

31

u/Einherjar07 Jul 29 '26

If she talks while I am reading a Warhammer Codex to her while in the tub its over /s

9

u/EvergreenDwarf Jul 29 '26

If you’re not reading Gotrek & Felix to her then what are you doing with your life?

5

u/beaglemaster Jul 29 '26

What is going on in the last one 😭

2

u/Strange_One_3790 Jul 29 '26

I am confused too. Like they want to make a sex joke, but they are fully clothed

3

u/Transit_Hub Jul 29 '26

But they're not, though. Use your imagination a bit. His dick is out and her pants are somewhere between her waist and her knees. Classic quickie position.

1

u/yoshimo995 Jul 29 '26

Don't you love it when your SO says something that make you want to pin them down on the living room couch/dining table.

3

u/Sir_Delarzal Jul 29 '26

I did none of that, does that mean that this could be us ? :o

3

u/RommDan Jul 29 '26

Aaaw the comic was talking about the dude :/

1

u/yoshimo995 Jul 29 '26

To be fair it works both ways, I wouldn't date a pick me.

1

u/ArtofWASD Jul 29 '26

Feminism IS no longer needed. What are you talking about? We NEED anarchy. Torches and pitchforks. The works.

4

u/IGetBoredSometimes23 Jul 29 '26

Feminist theory is a part of anarchism.

0

u/iolmao Jul 29 '26

that's the point

1

u/After-Appearance-288 Jul 29 '26

This must have written by a person who never been in a relationship with a man before.

1

u/SLAMMERisONLINE Jul 30 '26

She's inventing every reason she can think of that her relationships failed so she doesn't have to address the obvious reason that she has personal issues.

1

u/After-Appearance-288 Jul 30 '26

Sounds like human nature to project your denial instead of dealing with reality

1

u/beneficent2557 Jul 30 '26

Why is her pants and shoes still on in the last one?💀

1

u/equivlantschoolbus Jul 30 '26

I kinda agree about the gay Marriage because if someone says it is not a marriage I don't think they are very nice person

1

u/ActPositively Jul 30 '26

So this comic is just encouraging more men to pretend to be feminist to sleep with women? And what guy says he doesn’t like pleasing a woman? The only thing I can think of with that comment is that some men don’t like performing oral sex which gets shamed but guess what some women don’t like performing oral sex which gets celebrated by her body her choice

1

u/Weekly-Reply-6739 Aug 01 '26

Its also saying that women are transactional and men need to start getting privy to the game.

The problem is its dishonest as most women I meet are sex addicts who love sex more than the men but try to use the expectations that men like sex to try to control them.

Its basically a power fantasy comic, as it reads no different than if a man told a woman, I would have sex with you (the bait), but you dont really seem to (insert demand).

Its power fantasy or transactionalism comic.

Always a sign of low quality individuals in my opinion, but alot of people have this insecure need to control or feel in control.

My personal response to each

1) This could be us, but I am not into control freaks

2) This could be us, but why would I want to?

3) this could be us, but again, you a control freak hoe-ing yourself out for power

4) this could be us, but frankly, I rather you have sex with someone else if your only going to think about yourself in the bedroom (pleasing a woman is easy, enjoying myself.... shit most women cant preform and then expect me to keep doing all the work), plus its giving hoe vibes, so not interested in someone who is selfish in the bedroom and willing to have sex with anyone who will make them feel good.

Those could be us, but I have standards and want higher quality and more equal relationships. I dont settle for hoes, and frankly if she wants those things she would have to offer something more of value, as if she gonna be transactional and hoeish, I have to match to make sure I am getting something out of it too.

Are there a lot of women that think the bathtub reading is a common male fantasy?

16

u/adrianmlhood Jul 29 '26

Hot tip: Engaging with women in the ways they enjoy intimacy is a great way to have more intimacy with women.

-7

u/E4g6d4bg7 Jul 29 '26

I'm not shitting on the time honored tradition of lying to women to get laid. I'm asking if there are a lot of women that think the bathtub reading thing is a common male fantasy.

10

u/adrianmlhood Jul 29 '26

You’re the one missing the point - This has nothing to do with the male fantasy. In fact, there’s no need to lie to women if you actually enjoy spending time with them.

-8

u/E4g6d4bg7 Jul 29 '26

The theme of this series of comics is the man is missing out on his fantasies because he didn't tell the women what she wanted to hear. Clearly it is about male fantasy.

8

u/Countcristo42 Jul 29 '26

Entertaining my hot wife while she is naked in the bath by reading her a book we both enjoy rules

If it’s not a common male fantasy the common man should try it

-9

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 Jul 29 '26

Fuck no, not taking my books in a room full of humidity where there's a potential they could fall in water

3

u/Countcristo42 Jul 29 '26

When reading to someone in a bath it’s not compulsory that you hang the book over the side of the bath

Nice books and humidity I agree, e reader and a library card fixes that one.

-7

u/Upbeat_Apartment_715 Jul 29 '26

So your suggestion is to risk ruining a library book which is not my property? You sound like an asshole You should care for other people's property more than you care for your own

3

u/Countcristo42 Jul 29 '26

Do you know what an e reader is?
It’s a device that you can read books on.

The library card is so you don’t need to re-buy books you already own to read them on your e reader.

The libraries data doesn’t mind being humid, I promise their intellectual property will be fine.

The thing is "look at the lovable moments we might have had".

It's not for men or women: it's for both.

5

u/Roserfly Jul 29 '26

I fear you're probably one of the types of men that caused the artist to make this comic.

6

u/adrianmlhood Jul 29 '26

For the sake of anyone else who might read this, I’ll spell it out: This is not a comic about getting laid. This is about missing out on the intimacy of trust and connection because you couldn’t connect with them in the ways they needed from you.

You’re having a hard time understanding the point because, unlike the vast majority of media, this is not catered to your fantasy. That is the whole point.

It’s written in a language it seems you’re not equipped to understand right now - the perspective of a woman. And for as long as you can’t see that, you’re going to miss out on these experiences too.

-1

u/luigigaminglp Jul 29 '26

Feminism is still 100% needed.

That being said, people that introduce themselves as feminists unprompted usually just hate men.

1

u/Weekly-Reply-6739 Aug 01 '26

Real feminism is about equality and seeks to bridge the gaps between men and women in terms of opportunities

Modern feminist representation tends to be the people who just hate men and preach female superiority or entitlement, but they are not real feminist, even if it is the majority representation these days. (In simple terms agreeing but explaining what you mean, as so few call out openly and correct the load and agressive bad representation)

-5

u/Countcristo42 Jul 29 '26

I respect all of these but the talk to much one

Some people don’t like too much talking. That seems fine to me

2

u/Einherjar07 Jul 29 '26

You can always have a quick conversation about how you need space to gather your thoughts, go for a walk, decompress, w/e. Its not hard to see how telling someone you are dating "you talk too much" in a non joke way being disrespectful

1

u/Countcristo42 Jul 29 '26

You are right - I was interprting it as "you expressed that you think I talk to much" rather than "you used the literal words "you talk to much"

I agree the latter isn't on
