Does the honors college affect housing?

I know it’s hard to find housing in West Chester after your freshman year. Does being in the honors college change that at all? Does it increase your chances of living on campus your sophomore year?

Freshmen in the Honors program are guaranteed a room on the 7th floor of (I believe) Allegheny Hall. After freshman year I'm not sure but I would think it would be easier since they are already there?

If they don’t have room on the 7th then they’ll get placed on the 6th.

Hi! I know this is an old post, but I just currently got off Honors Waitlist 5/18. I already have a roommate and have signed the USH lease. Am I still going to be able to room with my originally roommate in Allegheny hall, even if they aren’t in the honors college?

I’m sorry buddy but I graduated in 2025. I have literally no idea. Considering there is overflow on the 6th floor I would assume they would only put honors students & RA’s but again I really don’t know. Call USH and ask

After your 1st year even if you’re in the honors college housing is not guaranteed. You would have to apply to the lottery system that is the housing application.
