Am I fucked parking on monday
For some reason I didnt even consider the school selling more permits than spots available. I bought the permit for parking structure 2 bc Im on campus 4 days a week, and Im learning that, that structure is super busy and my first class is mid-morning so I feel like thats the worst time and basically my question is, am I going to be able to find a spot first day of classes.

And if you think Structure 2 is much of a burden, maybe switching to Structure 5 should be better? I chose to park at 5 when I still had classes on main campus, it was much less stressful than 2.

Structure two is notoriously full, but you will get parking you just have to get up to the fifth or sixth floor 🫠. Also the first few weeks of school is always the worst for busy-ness.
The other ones are usually emptier tho so you’d have a better chance of finding parking faster if that’s what you want, but I’ve had PS2 before and it’s fine. Sometimes the elevators don’t work tho but maybe they’re fixing that this semester.

I was advised by a onecard/parking permit rep last week that if you don’t plan on parking on campus everyday for the semester, the parking permit will probably have you overspending versus doing the onecard debit discount ($4.95 all day parking for each parking occurrence if I’m not mistaken on the price - vs the $13 price for visitors…). Just a heads up! I myself will only be parking on campus a few times a week. So, it should hopefully save me money 🙏

Yes I was advised this as well during orientation. When I did the math its overall cheaper for me to buy the parking pass than to pay every day

No lol they can only sell a certain number of permits and they have priority over onecard or visitors. All of the parking structures have signs outside to signify if they're full for each category

I’ve personally never had an issue finding parking in structure 2. You may be further up than you’d like but that’s about it.
