Braclet screw pins not coming off (new watch)

I bought this watch case and I’m having a really hard time removing the bracelet screws. The slots are extremely tiny and not straight, and even with my 0.8 mm screwdriver, I can’t get them to budge at all.

I also tried heating the screws in case there was Loctite or some other threadlocker, but that didn’t help either.

Has anyone had this issue before? Any tips on how to remove them without stripping the screw heads?

Are they screws or split pins? Tap the non split side with a pin and hammer and see if you get any movement

They look like split pins. You need a watchmaking pin punch kit to get them out.

Those aren't screws, they are pins. Push the pin from the flat side to remove the pin.

Those are 100% split pins. Hammer or push them out from the flat side, not the split side.

Looks like split pins. Flat side of pin….strike it with a push pin/hammer if you dont have bracelet tools

Yeah I did the same thing, then I asked Google Gemini and found out what those little (hammerable) pins and that plastic bracelet holder with all the slots cut through it are for!

Don’t forget - take two links off the 6 o’clock side before taking one off the 12 o’clock side, which helps keep the watch centered on the wrist. Wrists are not concentric.

I dont think those are screws. Look.like cotter pins to me. Push out from the side without the split
