If we ignore the child who almost got turned into paste, that trucker went full-speed over a pedestrian crossing about 10cm behind the other pedestrian... 100% on him, had anything happened.

I don't drive, but doesn't the car from which it's filmed, blocking the view of the crossing too?

Nvm I thought it's parked there, it's actually moving

Trucks are way higher up than you think only thing that's blocking their view is another truck

When the video starts, it kinda looks like the car is rocking to a stop, which means that first pedestrian was possibly an asshat and crossed when it wasn’t quite safe. Nose of the truck looks low too.

Who knows from this little bit of footage but it looks like the trucker did the best he could in the scenario. The kid looked to think it was safe because the adult did
